What you get

Fantasy God Mode has five tools to help you win this season:

  1. Lineup Optimizer
  2. Trade Calculator
  3. Waivers & Free Agents
  4. Optimal VBD Draft Sheet
  5. Opponent Intelligence

All five live in an app (phone or desktop). The Chrome extension (desktop only) puts the same numbers live right on your league page — see it on a matchup page →

Lineup Optimizer

Always start the optimal lineup.

Win probability against this week's opponent, with both teams' projected score distributions.

Checks every bench player and every available free agent, and flags anyone who would raise your chance of winning this week.

Trade calculator

The only trade calculator that shows you the full range of outcomes.

Almost any trade can turn out good (you get a guy right before he blows up) or bad (right before he gets hurt). The God Mode trade calculator is the only one that quantifies that uncertainty and translates it into wins.

The trade finder scans every partner for 1-for-1 and 2-for-2 deals where both sides come out ahead.

Trade evaluation: Gotham Knights −0.401 wins, Why So Serious +0.374 wins, with each side's distribution of points-per-week change and bad / typical / great world outcomes Trade finder listing 119 trades where both sides gain, each with the projected win change for you and for them

It takes into account:

  • Current rosters — trading for a player at a position of need helps you more
  • Injury risk — even the most lopsided trade can go wrong due to injury

And tells you:

  • Expected wins, each side
  • Week-by-week win probability, before and after
  • Bad, typical and good outcomes (10th percentile, median, 90th percentile), including points and expected weeks started under each. Note how players start more often (darker colors) the better the outcome.

Waivers & free agents

Every free agent's impact on your team.

See the change in expected wins (or points, or upside) for every available free agent or waiver pickup, with the full range of outcomes and how often each one is projected to start for your team.

Draft Sheet

Optimized Value Based Drafting.

After testing a lot of draft strategies, a relatively simple, old-school VBD (value based drafting) approach worked the best. VBD involves a few assumptions, and those were tested too. The Fantasy God Mode draft tool is optimal VBD.

It reads your league's roster slots and scoring, then gives you a one-page printable cheatsheet or a live draft board you update as picks come off.

One God Mode user per league

Every subscriber gets to protect a league. Once you do, nobody else in your league can sign up and use Fantasy God Mode on it.

Why? I want my subscribers to have an edge, and Fantasy God Mode isn't an edge if your leaguemates have it too.

After you protect a league, anyone who tries later sees: “Sorry, Fantasy God Mode is only available to one team per league — looks like someone in yours already has it.” They can't tell which team. Protection lasts as long as you're a subscriber. First come, first served.

Paste a Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo or Fleaflicker league link. No link handy? The league's name is fine.

FAQ

Do I need the Chrome extension?

Sleeper and Fleaflicker: no, the app syncs on its own. ESPN and Yahoo: yes — those leagues connect through the extension, on a computer. After that the app works anywhere, phone included. The extension also overlays the numbers on your league page on any platform.

How does the rest-of-season model work?

Each player gets a projected distribution for every remaining week, not a single point estimate. The season is simulated thousands of times with injuries, breakouts, byes and your actual lineup each week, so a trade or pickup is priced by what it does to your projected wins. Younger and less-established players get wider ranges. The distributions are calibrated: about 10 in 100 players finish under their 10th percentile.

Is the draft tool available now?

Yes. Connect your league and it builds the cheatsheet from your roster slots and scoring; live draft mode runs in the app during the draft. Rankings and ADP refresh every few hours until kickoff.

What does "protect" do?

It locks new sign-ups out of that league. Managers who already had access keep it. Protection lasts while your subscription is active; if it lapses, the league opens up again.

Which platforms and browsers?

Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo and Fleaflicker. The app works in any browser, on your phone too. The league-page overlay is a Chrome extension.

How do I install the extension?

It's headed to the Chrome Web Store; until it lands there, installing takes about a minute — here's the walkthrough.
